Zaire's qualification for the 1974 World Cup surprised the rest of the world, unaware that the African nation was experiencing the most glorious period in its football history. African champions in 1968, when the country was still called the Democratic Republic of Congo, the team returned to success in 1974 thanks to a replay victory against Zambia and the nine goals of the tournament's top scorer, Mulamba Ndaye. Zaire's campaign in West Germany proved disastrous for various reasons. All three group matches were lost, and the 9-0 defeat against Yugoslavia was particularly humiliating for Zoran Vidinio, the Yugoslavian coach of the Zairean team.

With this legendary jersey featuring a thin yellow-green-red trim on the V-neck and short sleeves that evoke the three sacred African colors , typical of the Black Pride revival of the mid-1970s, we offer you  The book So Foot is a tribute to the 70s decade.
