He transposed the central stripe on the hood onto the jersey he was designing for PSG. Bingo! The club's board was thrilled. Two years later, an Italian magazine voted the Parisian jersey the most beautiful in Europe. And on the pitch, it began to inspire the players. For the 1980-81 season, after sporting a V-neck, the jersey featured a white, wide, pointed collar. This was the jersey of Dahleb, Rocheteau, and the very young Luis Fernandez. The one that laid the foundations for a victorious PSG. Winning the cup, then the league.
