Store newsletter: May 2021

In May, find everything you like!

When the clock strikes midnight, the So Foot selection for the month of May will come into the world. Before presenting it to you in preview, know that we set out to find what you would like. That is to say, to select photos of a legendary player never before put in the spotlight, of a club not yet glorified, of a selection not already celebrated and which deserved it. And then, always, to find a photograph that is just beautiful and collectible. The month of May will be festive, and its football exciting (despite everything). So as usual, just for you and one day before the rest of the world, we are revealing our new collection of very limited edition prints . Composed of four exclusive and original football photos . Just that. To be found tonight at midnight zero one on boutique.so .

Photos

We start with a memory full of blood and gold colors , of a time and a stadium where we would dream of being at this moment. But it is also to honor the current season of our Lensois. Travel to Bollaert, in May 1981, in a match between RC Lens and the great SC Bastia of the time, for a place in the French Cup final. Glory to you Daniel Leclercq!

From the North, we head to South America to the heart of the hottest derby on the football planet, Boca Juniors vs River Plate . It was in 2010 (yes… more than ten years ago), during the 10th day of the closing tournament of the Argentine championship and Riquelme treated us to a suspended check . That day, Boca won the derby 2-0 with a double from Médel, who would then be happy to take a red in the 75th minute. For the anecdote, here you have the one who was elected by the club's fans as the greatest player in the history of the Xeneizes... ahead of Maradona.

After Bollaert and Buenos Aires, here is another shot that smells good in the days of full stands. This print offers you a very colorful panel of the most beautiful outfits of the 70's , since the photo was taken during the World Cup match between Bulgaria and the Netherlands in 1974 in the Westfalenstadion in Dortmund . A match dominated by the pressing of the Oranjes who won the match 4-1 . Cruyff and his gang then play their last group match before going to the final.

To conclude, a little gift to our Belgian friends. Kevin De Bruyne's celebration after his shot as clear as hydroalcoholic gel on the Red Devils' second goal against Neymar's Brazil (1-2) in the quarter-final of the last Russian World Cup . Hovering.

The T-shirt

And this month, our t-shirt pays tribute to this misunderstood genius, crazy genius and so British Paul Gascoigne, aka Gazza . The English number 8 is one of those who forged the legend of football as we like it. Full of stories, mischief and fantasy. Here in this photo, he poses with the jersey of Newcastle, his training club, against a backdrop of Tyne Bridge, the city's emblem.

Only a few weeks left before we can return to the stadiums. Haste ! In the meantime, to get your daily dose of kick in the grass , don't hesitate to follow us directly on Instagram where we highlight as often as possible the beautiful photos from the immense collection of our partner : the photographic agency Icon Sports .
All these football prints (+ the Gazza t-shirt) will be available on boutique.so from May 1st 00:01.
