So obviously, the editors of So Press must pay tribute to the greatest of them all, El Diez, Diego Armando Maradona. The "D10S" was brilliant, cunning, facetious, elusive, lying, childish, polemical, angelic, touching, diabolical, contradictory, big mouth, sensitive, heroic, pathetic, iconic, technical, populist, crazy, selfish, paternalistic, annoying, misunderstood, adored, passionate, immortal... And legendary. This is why the greatest footballer of the 20th century deserves so many photos. Here are two new ones. Of which this first one is an idea suggested by one of you.

More came out of the boxes in the days following the announcement of his death. We published them without warning you, or anyone else, considering the maneuver inappropriate despite the palpable expectation among the public to see it again in images.

Last month, we offered the photo of the panenka, the first of its name, taken by… Antonin Panenka. This month, focus on the most famous dead leaf in history. With of course ZZ in the mix. Fifth minute of the 2006 World Cup final against the Italians. Without pressure, retractable bar, the good Gigi Buffon is on his buttocks. On that day, everything we already know will happen. And at the end: pressure, Trezeguet, bar out.

We continue with another legend. She also made her mark with her hand or almost. She is also French. Faced with the series of disappointments of his historic club Arsenal this year, we thought it would be good to warm the hearts of our Gunners with memories of better days. This March 9, 2005, at the legendary Highbury stadium, Henry can spread his wings. He has just scored the only goal of the match against the ogre of Bayern Munich in the round of 16 second leg of the Champions League (0-1).

We go back in time a little further, with another immense memory. 1984, France is in the Euro final, at home, this time against the Spaniards . Platini liberates his country and his team, in difficulty since the start of the match: he hits a slightly limp free kick halfway up, which Arconada sees coming into his hands. The goalkeeper dives, the ball escapes, rolls and crosses the line. A decisive blow of fate, France leads 1 then 2-0 after Bruno Bellone's break goal. France is European champion.

Europe still but this time clubs with the unofficial birth certificate of Ultramarines Bordeaux . It is April 24, 1985 and Bordeaux is in the semi-final of the European Cup. Massacred 3-0 in the first leg by Juventus Turin, the Girondins went all out and the various ultra groups (which did not yet have the status but were formed that year) caused the stands to burn down. from the Lescure stadium. Bordeaux wins 2-0. It won't be enough on the pitch but in the stands, nothing will ever be the same again.

Hope you find your happiness ! And whether this is the case or not, don't hesitate to follow us directly on Instagram where we highlight as often as possible a beautiful photo from the immense collection of our partner: the Icon Sport photographic agency .
All these prints will be available in the SO Boutique
