And roll my chicken in July!

July will be a busy month: Wimbledon, end of the Euro football, Olympics but especially Tour de France. If we didn't want to rub salt in the wound by selecting a single vintage photo of our Blues , and we don't really have a magazine on the sports of the Olympic Games to be able to release an Olympics collection, the release of our annual Pedal! allowed us to strengthen the collection of cycling photos . You'll discover them soon enough, at the bottom of this page. Because just for you and one day before the rest of the world, we are revealing our new collection of very limited edition prints . Composed of four exclusive and original football photos and therefore six bikes . Just that. To be found (a little later than usual) tomorrow at noon on boutique.so .

To heal the wounds of the France-Switzerland cataclysm, we took out a Proust madeleine from the oven. France's victory at Euro 1984 . And in particular this free kick from Michel Platini in the final against Spain . Because if everyone remembers it for the Arconada meatball, which we already offer in the store , at the start there is the right leg of Platoche. Or rather its famous inside of the rolled foot . The ball, off target, went halfway up, towards the small right net. The Spanish doorman will let it pass under his belly. And Michel Hidalgo's Blues went for the first continental title in their history .


We continue with another memory that brings a smile back: the legendary celebration of Bebeto . The context ? World Cup quarter-final . Not just any one. That of 1994, in the United States. It is July 9 and Brazil won 3 goals to 2 that day against the Netherlands . The Brazilian midfielder scored the 2-0 goal and celebrated it by miming the rocking of a newborn, in this case his 3rd child, Mattheus Oliveira, born two days previously . A few seconds later, he will be joined in his choreography by two of his teammates, Romario and Mazinho. Three men and a bassinet in mondovision.

After this nostalgic moment, we offer you a great first on our store: the aerial view of a stadium! Became a place of worship. It is indeed Anfield. We can clearly see the L of Liverpool. The F of Football. And the C of Club. Photographed from a helicopter, the photo was taken during the 2012-2013 season. Fun detail: we can see on the left of the pitch the Reds' light therapy system to improve the quality of their grass.


And to conclude, we have granted your wishes . Finally the one that one of you sent us by email. Namely a photo of the Celtic Football Club in Glasgow. It dates from October 4, 2003 . It wasn't easy to find but we think we found a nugget. Above, we see Hoops supporters during an Old Firm. Victorious at that, among the enemy at that. A small 1-0 for the families, on a goal from Khizanishvili. It deserved those beautiful smiles.



The bike collection
If the Euro is once every four years, the Tour de France is every summer. So to celebrate and properly accompany the release of our annual Pédale cycling event! which devotes a few pages and its cover to the legendary Miguel Indurain (which you can order by clicking on the cover below)...
