This month, the short-list is as tasty as a good Christmas log with the legendary Raï which makes its appearance in our beautiful collection. We also find a very nice photo of Zidane in the blue jersey . We also find the genius Andres Iniesta there after his legendary goal against Chelsea. Tribute to boss Bernard Tapie with a photo where his charisma spills out of the frame, as usual. And finally a beautiful photo representing the popular jubilation of France winning , the one that makes us vibrate with happiness in front of our screen.
This selection can be found now on our boutique.so
Photos We start this selection with a legendary player, Raï, and an action that is just as legendary, his hat-trick against Steaua Bucharest. The Parisians lost the first leg 3-2 but ultimately lost it 3-0 on the green carpet because they played Laurent Fournier who was not qualified to take part in the match. A dark story of a lost fax ... The Rouge et Bleu must therefore overcome a 3-goal deficit in their lair of the Parc des Princes. Difficult but not impossible challenge: after 40 minutes of play, the players from the capital lead 4-0 against the Romanians who seem lost on the pitch. Captain Raï has already scored a double in this crazy match but will complete his work with a final goal (5-0) after returning from the locker room. A marvelous header at the near post whose celebration is captured in this shot. |

For this shot, we find someone who we have already seen a lot but who has given us so many emotions and good times that it is difficult for us to make a choice. So let's take them all! Here, ZZ is in the French team jersey and he exudes the very essence of football. We read there at the same time the effort, the difficulty but also the elegance and beauty. At the time we go out a large and beautiful tribute book of 192 pages retracing his entire life and career , we had to release a photograph at the same time . It's done !

We continue this selection with another genius of this sport who didn't have much hair. Andrés Iniesta will have left his mark on his class on the pitch. He is part of this category of players who are respected and appreciated by almost all football fans, regardless of the club they support. We find him here for one of the most important goals of his career (we're talking about a guy who scores the winning goal in the World Cup final anyway...). His volley in a historic Champions League semi-final in 2009 against the Chelsea of Drogba, Lampard and Terry . This photo says everything about the difficulty Guardiola's troops went through to achieve their dream and obtain this qualification for the final (1-1) . This rage clearly shows in the photo. And even if the Barça collective was exceptional at the time, it needed, that evening, a flash of genius from Don Andrés to get through it. And continue its journey towards its sextuplet history… |

We are leaving the category of “great players” to move into that of “great presidents”. A tribute that seemed important to us was necessary this month. Bernard Tapie, beyond the controversies, will remain as one of the most emblematic bosses of French football. Not only because he is the one who understood how to win a European Cup and who did it, to offer French football the first European Cup in its history with the great OM team of era . In this photo, all of Nanard's charisma shines through, alone in the middle of the field at his Olympique's Vélodrome stadium. Good luck President!

We end this beautiful December selection with a photo that represents France winning! And not just any one. France, world champion 98! The photo immortalizes a scene of jubilation on the Champs-Elysées, which followed this victory of July 12, 1998 and this first star embroidered on the jersey. We all remember where we were that day and where we ended up. And this photo in your living room will be there to remind you every day of these delicious feelings that this victory gave you. And 1 and 2 and 3-0!
