Once the inventory is over, we can present to you the new December collection . For this last month of 2022, we have decided to please you even more than usual, since you are entitled to 5 new prints in a very limited edition , instead of the usual 4 from recent months. We start the presentations with very very special guests : Lothar Matth äus & René Higuita face-to-face during the 90 World Cup. We continue with the iconic celebration of Messi and his jersey at the Bernabeu ready to follow you all your life in the warmth of its setting. A bit like you in front of the fireplace you would tell me? Then we are entitled to two historical monuments of our national heritage: Michel Platini celebrating a goal with Juve against Argentinos Junior and a shot with a great perspective of a corner at Reims of the Blues, between Dominique Rocheteau and Alain Giresse .

This selection can be found now on our boutique.so .

We start this selection with a memorable World Cup match. A contrast in style. West Germany - Colombia, at the Meazza stadium in Milan, during the last meeting of the group stage. On June 9 , 1990, German midfielder and captain Lothar Matthäus crossed paths with goalkeeper Rene Higuita. In the photo, the ball seems to be fleeing from the Mannschaft and the Columbine goalkeeper, who carries it in his arms, illustrates this by wearing a big mocking smile on his lips. However, appearances are deceiving. Because if the final result is 1-1, it suits Germany which qualifies for the next round. And will even go all the way by winning in the final against Argentina (1-0) for his third star.

We continue in the show with this iconic celebration of Lionel Messi at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium . The score is 2-2 against Real Madrid. We are in the 92nd minute . The rival is then first in the Spanish championship rankings. Messi has already scored his team's first goal. And on a quick counter-attack , he gave him the victory and the place of No. 1 in La Liga (by goal difference). The Argentinian then takes off his jersey, then hands it to the Real fans in a rather unusual gesture for the Pulga. Which makes this moment all the more memorable.

We no longer present it: Michel Platini . National hero, he was on December 8, 1985 in Tokyo , with the Juventus Turin , to face the winner of the Libertadores 85, Argentinos Juniors , for the Intercontinental Cup final . During this match, concluded with a score of 2-2 , Platini scored according to him the “ best goal of his career ”. And watching it ( at 8:17 ), we can only agree. But it will ultimately be refused due to offside on the part of a teammate. This photo, however, does not show his truncated celebration. No, it's about a few seconds after scoring his victorious shot on goal (4-2), he the last shooter, which offers Juventini the first intercontinental trophy in their history. Hence the joy that transpires.

1986 World Cup: no need to go very quickly on the lawn of the Olympic stadium in Mexico , you just have to start on time in this round of 16 between the Blues and the Transalpines. With two goals scored at the start of each half , the French team mastered an Italy that was overwhelmed then resigned (2-0) and advances to the quarter-finals, heading to Guadalajara . The Blue of the match: Dominique Rocheteau. During this meeting, he notably combined quite a bit with his midfielder Alain Giresse . Like this corner, quickly played at Rémoise , which ultimately achieves nothing. Apart from this fantastic shot giving an overview of the match, the context and this legendary stadium.

We end our selection with this magnificent photo dating from April 14, 1984 , which won your votes during thevote on our social networks . This is an FA Cup semi-final . It pits Southampton against Everton at Highbury Stadium in London . The photograph shows Saints fans sitting on the tin walls lining the Highbury stands, presumably to get a better view. Like this great organizational nonsense, the match will end with an invasion of the field and a lot of arrests.
