It's a success! … it's a resounding success! … it's a smash hit! What am I saying, a smash hit? … It's a tidal wave! Since its release at the beginning of September, the supporters' pack (which we mentioned in the last newsletter), consisting of the 148-page special Supporters Edition and the legendary book "Génération Supporters" by Philippe Broussard, impossible to find anywhere (except on eBay for 100 euros), is selling like hotcakes 🍫

Already 1000 copies ordered (!) and the hype train isn't stopping, because even as you read these lines, a customer is checking out their cart with this beautiful book + magazine set inside. And if you haven't already done so, we can only encourage you to do the same by clicking the button below.
Photo selection of the month:
And since the world of stadium stands and the universe of supporters seems to fascinate you, we thought we'd put together a selection of our best photos combining ultras, flares, chants, joy, the Kop, fans, and thrills... Starting with the stand that all supporter groups in Europe dream of: the Yellow Wall of Borussia Dortmund. Here in 2019, during a crushing victory for Lucien Favre's BVB over Bayer Leverkusen (4-0) in the 4th round of the Bundesliga.

Another photo with a large crowd. And another legendary stand in European football, famous for its chant "You Will Never Walk Alone": the Liverpool Kop . Here at Wembley Stadium in London, during the FA Cup final against Arsenal (1-2), on May 8, 1971.

Undoubtedly the most popular photograph in our shop. All the A4 prints were gone in less than 24 hours... A3 prints in less than a week. And A2 prints in less than a month. That's why we've been offering A1 prints on boutique.so for some time now. This photograph shows El Fideo celebrating Paris Saint-Germain's victory and qualification in the second leg of the 2019 Champions League Round of 16 against Borussia Dortmund, just before the lockdown, in front of fans banned from the Parc des Princes but who came to celebrate at the foot of the Auteuil stand. This is how this now-iconic image of Di Maria, his tattoos clearly visible, was born, a picture of pure joy in an electric atmosphere of flares and loud chants .

From Argentina (in Paris) to Brazil, there's an ocean to cross. But a shared passion for football, the sport that makes the heart of an entire country beat. And the football religion even has its temple there: the Maracanã . Here, it hosts the Flamengo supporters' section during a league match against Athletico Paranaense, a match that would qualify them for the Copa Libertadores if they win. An atmosphere worthy of the derbies against their hated neighbors, Fluminense, which are of course played at the Maracanã, where each group of supporters takes over a section. Fla-Flu, in fact, holds the absolute attendance record for a club match , with 194,000 spectators on December 15, 1963.

While stadiums have always had stands or fan sections, the ultras haven't always been their residents. There's often a founding date, and sometimes even a pivotal match . In Bordeaux , it was a European Cup match at the Stade Lescure : the second leg of the semi-final against Juventus , won on the pitch by Alain Giresse's teammates (2-0), and the atmosphere in the stands was electric, a memory all the fans present that day still cherish.

A snapshot the likes of which we would never see today. It dates from 1981. On that day, Aston Villa traveled to Arsenal . Their fans flocked to Highbury to witness the match that would crown their team champions of England . It was the last title in their history.

We're heading to Marseille for the final draw of this selection. More precisely, the Vélodrome stadium, transformed into a blaze of flames by its ultras during the match against Troyes in April 2023. And their silhouettes, like shadows, are etched against the red of the flares. Quite a crowd.
