The photos
El Fideo has therefore bowed out with the capital club. Angel Di Maria , who arrived in 2015, not content with having become the best passer of the history of Paris Saint-Germain in front Safet Susic has left his mark on the big matches in the club's recent history. The first leg against Barcelona in 2017, the classic against Marseille in 2019, the group match against the real Madrid the same year. This magician even achieved the feat of making his supporters exult remotely during the second leg of the round of 16 of Champions League against Dortmund . After a very poor first leg performance from the Parisians and a 2-1 defeat , the players of Thomas Tuchel wins the second leg (2-0). Thanks to a brilliant piece of skill from Di Maria on the corner, Neymar marks the first goal followed by Bernat Just before halftime. At the end of the match, there's a sense of liberation. The Parisians celebrate this victory and run up the stairs of the Parc des Princes opening onto the outside to commune with the supporters who defied the bans. This gives us that now-iconic image (especially on social media) of Fideo from behind, his tattoos clearly visible, overjoyed in a an electric atmosphere made up of smoke and loud singing.
Unfortunately, the end of the season doesn't always provide an opportunity to celebrate titles or pay tribute to players. This is the case for Girondins de Bordeaux, where the atmosphere is far from celebratory due to the club's relegation to Ligue 2. We therefore decided to show our support for the Bordeaux fans by offering them a memento of their last French league title.
In the 2008-2009 season , Bordeaux managed to end Lyon's dominance (7 consecutive titles), thanks in particular to a season finale with 11 straight wins . Among the highlights of this championship season was undoubtedly the 4-0 victory against Paris Saint-Germain in early January . One particular play stood out. It was the 70th minute and Bordeaux were already leading 2-0 when Yoann Gourcuff prompted Grégoire Margotton , the evening's commentator, to compare it to the great Zinedine Zidane . It has to be said that the famous number 10 could only applaud the goal. A roulette move on Sylvain Armand , a double touch from space on Sammy Traoré , a toe-poke to beat Landreau . Even in slow motion, it was fast for the cameras.

While this season saw two historic clubs relegated to the second division, it also brought back a giant: AJ Auxerre. A club inextricably linked to the history of one man: Guy Roux. He experienced everything with this club, from the lower divisions to European competition . His tenure lasted from 1961 to 2005—a longevity that would make Sir Alex Ferguson envious. After a brief career as an amateur player, the man with the cap quickly turned to his future profession: coaching . When he arrived at AJA , he was only 23 years old. In 1980, Guy Roux led the club to the pinnacle of French football, securing promotion to the first division for the first time. It was on the eve of this first season in the top flight that this photoshoot took place in the coach's office.
For the final photo, we head to Italy. This season, José Mourinho managed to deliver AS Roma their first ever European title with the Conference League . A major event for this historic club, which had been struggling recently, its last trophy dating back to 2008 and the Coppa Italia . Their last Serie A title goes back even further, to 2001. This season therefore holds special significance for this club, historically a loser. That year, Roma fans could count on a formidable attacking trio composed of Montella, Batistuta , and the future icon of the club (and the city): Totti . The title-clinching match is also memorable. For the 34th and final matchday , AS Roma faced Parma and their defense comprised of Buffon, Thuram, and the two Cannavaros . This ironclad defense couldn't withstand the phenomenal atmosphere of the Stadio Olimpico . It's safe to say that when Francesco Totti opened the scoring in the 19th minute, it resulted in a now-iconic image of jubilation from the city's unofficial Pope. Fittingly, the next two goals were scored by Montella and Batistuta. Roma beat Parma 3-1 and won their third Scudetto , eighteen years after their last.
