We waited, we postponed, we did it in bits and pieces, but it's time to tell you all about our collector's sets with jerseys (mostly from the Copa brand). This Dutch company reissues iconic jerseys from football history (national teams or clubs), which we complement with a book (or magazine) from our So Press collection. Let's take a look! Starting with the long-sleeved jersey of the French national team from 1958 (the one Just Fontaine wore for his record 13 goals), accompanied by the book "The Forgotten Heroes of the World Cup" .

But what else? We were captivated by the 1980s Sporting Bastia jersey, featuring the Moor's Head , the main symbol of Corsica. In the 1980s, SC Bastia was just coming off its golden age, having reached the European Cup final in 1978, a landmark moment in the club's history. In the league, this decade was marked by notable seasons in Division 1, including a fourth-place finish in 1981, which contributed to its renown. Despite iconic players like Johnny Rep and Claude Papi, the club faced financial difficulties that led to relegation to the second division. With this jersey , we offer you... our equally famous "Little Green Book" , a collection tracing the history of football through 200 quotes.

Next up is another marvel from the 1980s, understated yet effective: the Atlético Madrid jersey from the 1985-86 season, the one managed with an iron fist by Luis Aragonés. A team known for its robust yet creative style of play, culminating in their 1985 Spanish League victory.

National team football is also featured, notably in the "Algeria 1982" box set, which includes a replica of the jersey proudly worn in Spain by Madjer, Dahleb, and Belloumi. Also included is Salah Assad, the shooting star of that Algerian Dream Team. A hero who has completely disappeared from public life, due to his political involvement with the Islamic Salvation Front (FIS), which led to his spending four years in a Saharan prison camp. A portrait reflecting a painful chapter in the country's history, to be discovered in the accompanying book, "Forgotten Heroes of the World Cup."

A trip to South America with Vasco da Gama in 1970 would mark the beginning of the career of a great Vasco star, the explosive striker Roberto Dinamite. He made His debut with the first team was in November 1971 , at the age of 17. In his first match, against Internacional, he scored a spectacular goal. A journalist, in an article the following day, nicknamed him " Dinamite." We're still in the 1970s. But we're going back to Europe, with this 1972 Portugal national team jersey. In the 1970s, Portuguese football was still influenced by The golden generation of the mid-1960s , characterized by the presence of iconic players such as Eusébio and the arrival of Jordão. And this is reflected in this understated, effective and traditional design : plain red jersey, green collar and crest over the heart.

It's a love of the past that inspired this collection , which can bring back incredible memories for your grandparents! The most glorious period in Lille OSC's history took place very early on, in the middle of the club's first decade (after its creation in 1944). This rise began under coach George Berry, who led his club to a national double in 1946 , before being replaced by André Cheuva, who managed the club for the next 12 years. Cheuva's team regularly won the Coupe de France and finished in the top two of Division 1.

Last but not least , the 1962 Cuban national team jersey ! A year in which the local footballers only managed to wear it twice, just days apart, against Puerto Rico and Jamaica. The Revolution and the Cuban Missile Crisis didn't help football gain a foothold. This isolation lasted until 1965, when Cuba made a strong comeback and participated in the qualifiers for the 1966 World Cup.

And for the rest, here's our bestseller! The Napoli 87 jersey, the one worn by none other than Diego Armando. The jersey that ended a 61-year wait. Since its founding in 1926, Napoli had never managed to win the Italian league title. A Buitoni jersey that Napoli sported from the 1985 season onwards. A jersey that (of course) graces the cover of the special edition tribute to Diego, included with this set.
