“French team” collector’s box

The So Foot team has designed a “French team ” collector’s box including:

• 1 vintage jersey from the 1958 French team
• 1 beautiful book So Foot: the forgotten heroes of the World Cup

Since Just Fontaine scored his 13 goals during the 1958 World Cup, a legend has lingered in the history of French football: it was not expected that Justo would start during the competition, and he would not have due to his place only to the injury of the other scorer at the Reims stadium, René Bliard. A strange affair that one day had to be cleared up. Something done in the book Forgotten Heroes of the World Cup which revisits the most famous sporting competition with the tone that made So Foot magazine famous. And what better way to read this work than to put on the jersey of the first golden blue-white-red generation emerging in the immediate post-war period? Kopa, winger Jean Vincent and Justo therefore allow France to reach the 1/2 final. The absence of Robert Jonquet in defense weighed heavily in the defeat against the Brazilians (5-2) but did not prevent the French from finishing on the podium, after a resounding victory (6-3) against the West Germans in the match for 3rd place.
